This is a fantastic bourbon-based cocktail that is easy to make and even easier to memorize, since it calls for equal parts. Plus it’s easy to drink, which makes it even more dangerous!

Amaro Nonino is a unique Italian digestif made from grappa that has hints of orange, rhubarb, saffron and tamarind. Pairing the Amaro Nonino with the Aperol aperitif, tartness from lemon juice and a smooth bourbon like Bulleit packs a flavorful punch. In fact, we’ve never met a guest who didn’t enjoy it. We know you will too!

Ingredients

  • 1 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz Amaro Nonino
  • 1 oz Aperol
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • fresh lemon twist for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
  • Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled coupe.
  • Garnish by expressing fresh lemon twist and placing into drink.
